6th Series Weather

As we are about to start the 6th Series the weather has warmed up to a nice 69 degrees.

We are still experiencing some wind coming from the South Southwest at 15 mph.

We will see if the wind will play a factor in the dog performance.

Test Condition Changes

We have had 5 pickup's within the last 10 dogs. The wind direction has not changed but the volatility of the blowing and the gusts have increased.  The result of these changes is that as the dogs run out for the go bird and establish a hunt, their tendency has seemed to be to see the dead bird station and be drawn in that direction.

Updated Conditions with Gun Change - 1st Series

The conditions have not the changed much since this morning, if anything the wind is blowing a little bit harder.  The dog work has continued to be about the same with some dogs having difficulty on the flyer.  However, the lighting is better on the dead bird as the sun peeks out from behind the clouds from time to time …

Gun Change at 9:47 - smooth change as always.
