The Seventh Series overlooks a large cluster of four
ponds. The left hand bird is the first bird in this series and is a dead
drake thrown to the right at 324 yards from the line. The line to this bird is to run down a
slope and swim across three ponds to the far side of the third pond.
The dogs must swim across two smaller ponds divided by levees across a
piece of land, then across the largest pond of the three. The second
bird is also a dead drake thrown to the left at 256 yards. The route to the bird is down
the slope, across the land, across a small pond to get the bird on the
far shore. Total time for the test is 12 minutes.
