We
are on the property of Bob and Barbara Hayden overlooking a terraced
field. The line faces south and there is a brisk wind from the NW at
12-15 mph. The first bird is a dead rooster on the left side of the
field thrown to the left at 176 yards. The bird is thrown next to a
patch of heavy cover. The dog must travel across low cover of cut grass
going down across three terraces to get the bird. The second bird is the
rooster flyer shot to the left at 181 yards. The bird is right of the
line and there were three terraces. The time for this test ranges from
3-5 minutes.
